Commercial Description:
Bam is an extra special dog. After surviving being struck by a car, he daily somehow manages to avoid being carried away by the largish birds of prey gliding overhead, riding unseen thermals. Bam's tenacity seems only to be surpassed by his oversized personality. Join us in this celebration of his excess. More malt, more hops, same vivacious personality.

Clear reddish amber with a massive light tan head. Be sure to pour this one slowly. Smells like birch, fresh hops, straw, vanilla, clove, and apricot. Lively on the palate with very fine carbonation, crisp and clean. Not much on the front end in terms of flavor, but the finish is clean fresh hops. The beer tastes a bit watery but not in an unpleasant way. There’s this fatty mouthfeel at the end that reminds me of Samuel Smith beers. Not bad, good for summer or spring on a hot day if you want to drink a light beer with a hoppy backbone.

(on bottle) nice chestnut color, bright white head. Woodt feel in the mouth, slightly harsh/sour. Has a distinct sloe tartness. Tastewise not that big; whole barley and a tad of smoke. Small waterish and malted finish, with hints of bret.

Bottle. Dark amber, clear with a foamy ½” head. Nose-grapefruit, good funk, light sour, apple juice. Taste-light funk, chardonnay, wood, unbitter tannins, tea leaves, funk is really on the background, unsweet apple juice, muted aroma hops in the background. All the flavors are really nice, but the whole thing is kind of thin. I would appreciate more aggressiveness.

Amber color with a med-lg head. Classic bam aroma with some nice sour/wildness, brettiness, citrus, and funk. Flavor is again classic Bam (as good as any regular Bam batch I’ve had) but a bit more hoppyy/peppery/citrusy with a crisp finish. Awesome.
