Bam is an extra special dog. After surviving being struck by a car, he daily somehow manages to avoid being carried away by the largish birds of prey gliding overhead, riding unseen thermals. Bam’s tenacity seems only to be surpassed by his oversized personality. Join us in this celebration of his excess. More malt, more hops, same vivacious personality.

750ml bottle. Pours a hazy golden orange, almost copper color, with big frothy, off-white head that leaves a lot of lacing. The aroma is citrus fruitiness and that bretty barnyard and lemon character you expect from JP. The flavor is a mild citrus note and more of a funky/earthy bitterness. The carbonation is very nice and the beer has a dry finish that makes this a very refreshing beer.

750ml served in a Duvel tulip. Batch 1063/1064 Bottled: 04-05-2012 A - Murky brown body with 3 fingers of moundy head slowly collapses into several different textures of foam. Excellent retention with minimal lacing. S - Fresh fruity esters, green apple, watermelon, lemon, green grass, dry funky yeast, earthy and spicy herbal aromas. Salty wood and white balsamic come out as it warms. T - Moderate grassy and zesty citrus hops add aggressive bitterness that pushes against a mild grain malt. Hints of berry fruit and tannins coat the back of the tongue. Salty and woody with a dry bitter finish. M - Moderate prickly carbonation, medium body, dry finish. Well it’s definitely hoppy. More so in the flavor than the nose. Very complex nose though. Crunchy herbal dryness. The hops are right on the edge of choking all other flavors out. I haven’t had the original so I can’t compare the two. If you feel like a hopped up Saison this should feed your craving well. Serving type: bottle 08-03-2012

Pretty unique! Crazy dark copper pour w/ a huge white foamy head. The aroma is very sour & taste somewhat sour but different & interesting. I appreciate the originality here. Nice & tasty at the low 4.7%.

Noticeable hops up front, notes of citrus, pine... Not particularly sour for a JP, but definitely lingering hop character throughout.... Enjoyable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Sugar Maple. This is a great beer. Barky(?) clean and smooth medium body. Mineral delicate hops, some soapy peppery tones, and some tropical tones. A complete delight to drink, incredibly sessionable. Mellow on the palate, with an almost English feel I suppose. Lots of depth. Classic, yet quirky. Great.

Bottle from Bruisin Ales. Pours brown with an inch of khaki foam. Nice amount of lacing on the glass. Tartness on the nose and tongue. Has some residual hoppiness as well. Solid.

Bottle - Citrus lemon/lime, tropical fruit and some funky yeast. Effervescent with a foamy (bottle almost blew up) white head and cloudy orange. Lemon and lime in the flavor as well, with a nice bitterness and very dry. Grassy and some spicy hops that play nicely with the other flavors. A nice flavorful patio beer.

Flot gylden farve med en tæt fyldig skum der bliver hængende. Lidt syrlig duft, særpræget smag af gæren, humlet eftersmag, tør bitter god øl Free Føroyar!!!
