3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle via wavvers, thanks Baker. Pours a light golden color with a frothy white head for a sour. Lots of carbonation in this one. Sour funk aroma comes through very early and only grows. A little bit of nuttiness in the aroma but not overpowering. The taste is more sour but very well balanced, lactic, and then some malt characters but not a lot of other spices seem to come through. A very good beer but not necessarily screaming "FALL!!" like I was expecting.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap @ Spuyten Duyvil. Pours a deep orange with a wispy and quickly-dissipating head. Aroma is spice (cinnamon and coriander), nut, malt, and yeast. Taste is roughly the same, with a character that effortlessly evokes the autumn season. Quite a nice beer.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle: Poured a dark orange with a tan head. The aroma was fruity (apples), oak, and spices. The flavor was somewhat tart, dry oak with a hint of apple spice, nuts and cinnamon. Overall, a really tasty brew, high quality and sophisticated.

4.1 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
750ml bottle. The bottle is now green, unfortunately, unlike the old brown ones. Batch 244,245. Wonderful appearance on this one, just like Iíve come to expect with this company. A clear golden honey color with a huge rocky white head with great retention and great lacing. Amazingly complex aroma on this baby. Freshly roasted honey nuts, slight chocolate, brown sugar, christmas, normal JP funk, all integrated together and blended beautifully. Chestnuts roasting over an open fire. The nuttiness here is more appetizing than any other beer (mostly brown ales) where I have noticed a nutty character, it must be the chestnuts. Taste is subdued in its funky and tart flavors with some of the nuttiness and chocolate of the aroma coming through but much, much more subtle. This beer smells better than it tastes, unfortunately. Probably the least sour and funky tasting JP Iíve had to date, probably because itís new. Drinkability is very high. Nice soft mouthfeel with a slight dryness. Iíd be interested to see how this ages, though it is certainly nice right now.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy deep orange-amberish beer with a nice creamy slight yellowish-off white head. Aroma is mild and soft malty, it has touches of nuts and almond liquor. Also touches of chesnut skin that gives a untherbuild tart sharpness in this brew. Aroma is sweeter than the taste. The mouthfeel is quit dry, it has a soft malty carracter with a slight spicy touch and sharp accents of sour apple skins (renette apples) and orange zest. In the afthertaste there is a nice earthy touch with hints of humide forrest soil, wild berries and wet wood The more this beer gets warmer, the more wine like the beer gets.

Brewed in th USA !!!! Courtesy of AFI96... Thanks Waylo. Pours a orange/amber color with a small foamy white head. Aroma of barn yard funk and apples. Taste has a spritzy sourness followed by some lemon zing, spices and toasty notes. Mouthfeel is sour but not overpowering with some serious earthy funk at the finish.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
22oz bottle. Pours a deep yellow almost orange with a thick foamy head. Massive carbonation as is typical of JP. Nose is very nutty, nutmeg, apple, yeast and hazelnut. Taste is slightly sour up front with a complex nutty middle and a snappy hoppy finish. Lingering sourness and caramel notes. Awesome as usual with JP.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Blend #6, Bottled 10/10/12, 25.4 oz Bottle. Pours a hazy orange with a finger of fine off-white head. Decent retention with some lacing. Aroma is moderately funky, barnyard, tangy, spicy. Flavor is moderately sour up front and builds slightly, fades into herbal, vegetal, and spicy finish. Mild bitter that lingers. Moderate carbonation, less than many sours, and a light, crisp body. Slightly tart, oily, finish. Not a very traditional belgian ale, it is more herbal like a sour saison. Regardless, it is an excellent, tasty, refreshing beer.
