4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Slightly hazy, dark amber pour with a 3 finger, fluffy beige head. Aroma of nice musty funk, basement, nutty notes, stone fruit pits, toast, light caramel. Flavor is nice earthy leaves, toast, caramel and nutty notes up front, nice ripe fruity notes, sweet potatoes, light woody notes, nuts, green wood and toasty bread. Light body with a dry fee, and moderate strength, blanketing, spritzy carbonation. Really good stuff.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours apple juice, Brownish orange, bit of white foam, not much foam. Aroma is sour but not much, at the same time not really getting much chestnut and nit that spicy. Brett funk and horse-blankety. Taste is also slight sour, more old apple bitterness, some funk and horseblanket. spices coming out at the end, bit of nuttiness also, maybe because I am really looking for it. Nice and enjoyable, not mind-blowing.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Thanks Greg for sharing the bottle!
Poured into a wineglass showing a finger of clean white foam and dry orange peel.
The nose shows light cooking spices but mainly a mix of Bretty funk, dry apricot/citric zest, and hints of oak barrel.
The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Flavors of dry apricot, light tartness, a hoppy bitter finish and a citric zesty spiciness.

Bomber into a tulip. Pours a cloudy amber/orange, with a small white head that rapidly dissipates. Nose is vinegary Belgian yeast and spices. Taste is sublime-moderately tart beginning which gives way to light caramel and malt, followed by a nice spice finish. Soft carbonation, with a long finish. Very, very nice.
