Tap @ Jolly Pumpkin Ann Arbor. Slightly hazy, golden appearance with a white head. Somewhat spicy, piney hoppy aroma. Sweet pale malty, very spicy, sappy hoppy flavor.

On tap at JP in Ann Arbor. Poured medium and clear gold color with no head. Aromas and tastes of nuts and some fruitiness. Herbal. Had a herbal after taste I couldn’t quite put my finger on - maybe the agave?

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Enjoyed on tap at JP Ann Arbour. Yellow coloured body is not exceptional. The carbonation is above average, it is a below average bodied beer. A ittle sour and sweet, though the hops are there.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at the brewpub in Ann Arbor. Very pale golden-straw pour. The nose is composed mostly of a fresh hoppy aroma. Lemon peel and lemon grass with a bright fruity aroma. A little bit of really intense fruitiness along with some light dry spiciness. Lemony and tropical. The flavour is actually very hoppy... sort of a combination of Sorachi Ace and Citra with a very soft bitterness. Very lean light malt with a nice citrusy hoppiness. Fresh an quite tasty.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Had this at the brewpub in Ann Arbor.
The lights were dark but it appeared a clear light peach color with minimal head.
Smell was greatly hoppy and fresh.
It was very hoppy, but balanced in taste. THe hops were really spicy, but with a hit of grapefruit peel. There was a slight sourness underneath. It was crisp and clean.
This is a great beer, not sure how limited it will be but I recommend getting it while it is there.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
2011-11-12. Crisp golden yellow body with a nice white head and lace. 3+ Flavour is odd, grainy, bit different, mild bitterness grows in the finish with a light kiss of grass, and tropical fruit. Bit of chestnut like character? Unusual profile. 6+ Aroma is quite floral, fruity, lightly perfumey. 6+ Average palate. Interesting, just okay overall but probably the best gluten free beer I have had. On tap at Jolly Pumpkin Cafe, Ann Arbor

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap. Poured a clear bronze with an egg shell head. Aroma was full of citrus hops with a bit of underlying spices. Earthy hops were the main flavor I picked up with a bit of spice and yeast underneath.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Jolly Pumpkin Ann Arbor on our way to RBSG. Pours a hazed golden yellow with no head. Light funk, soft and sweet. Lightly tart with some rough earthy hops. Lingering long tannic bitterness with some quinine notes. Interesting.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
[4099-20111112] Tap. Strange cardboard house yeast aroma has almost a garage-like note. Slightly hazy, light orange brown body with a long-lasting foamy off-white head. Bitter grainy malt flavour has a hint of the house yeast infused with orange punch. Medium body. Good, and great for a gluten-free, no wonder it’s been winning awards. (6/3/7/3/14) 3.3

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Nice, lemony citrus aroma, but with a medicinal underpinning. The flavor is almost repugnant. Medicinal, rubbing alcohol. Really doesn’t work, though I guess it might be ok for a gluten free.
