3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Batch 610, Bottled 8-20-10. Pours a very hazy sediment infused yellowish orange color with a massive lingering foamy head. Flavor is lactic and slightly tart with hints of pumpkin spice. Light and fizzy on the palate, highly carbonated. Flavor is lingering mildly dry notes of pumpkin and cocoa. Interesting take on the style, but Iím not sure that I would know this had pumpkin in it if the bottle didnít say so.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Malts, roasty, various, perhaps too many spices. Bit metallic, watery mouth feel. I had a hard time tasting any pumpkin in this and I didnít enjoy it that much.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
I brought this one from California to share at Dark Lord Day m 2014 in Munster, Indiana. Glad I did. Pours a light amber with a big robust off-whie head. Nose of roasted malts and pumpkin. Some spice. Medium body. Smooth in the mouth. Flavor is a bit on the funk side. But very tasty and easy drinking.

Sampled at DLD 2014. It poured a hazy orange color with a small off-white head. The aroma was fruity, malty, spicy, yeasty pumpkin notes. The taste was fruity, slightly tart, spicy pumpkin in the aftertaste.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Descent offering. Sour but not really overkill. Not my favorite jolly pumpkin but still worth drinking.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Served cool, large frothy head, orange/red hue. Aroma of spices, nutmeg, sour grapefruit and alcohol. Highly carbonated. Taste is sour, slightly bitter, spice is definitely present, but barely any pumpkin. Good, but I become quite dismayed when pumpkin is advertised and the taste is lacking of such.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
0.75l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. This is a lovely looking almost glowing peach orange really cloudy one with lots of small particles and a small islandy lacing off-white head. Really tart on the aroma with sour red fruits, wood, green gooseberries, something slightly spicy also, and the spices really opens up when the beer gets some temperature. Smells really nice. Average carbonation level with a light creamy soft oily mouthfeel. Again the fruits is dancing on my tongue with a conservated lemony touch. That usual Jolly flavor is so present here. Iím having a hard time identifying this as a pumpkin ale, but itís really well tasting. Some white peppery spices in the finish before it rounds off with a sour red berry finish. Mhm... Really enjoyable. 31.03.2013
