Jan 18, 2008 Bottle: blend 11; 2007. Pours a dark amber with an off white head. Aroma is sour with fruit and a touch of caramel. The taste was different from what I was expecting as it jumped at mesince I was expecting more amber and less sour. It was full of sour apple, other fruit (maybe berries) and oak.

Jan 11, 2008 Updated: Feb 17, 2008750 pours a murkey red brown with a monster head and sticky lace. The aroma is yeasty and sour. The flavor is sour, grapefruit, spicy, lemon tart, and actually quite smooth. The palate is medium and carbonated. It seems to be a table beer for a heavy meal. As it warms it shows a bit of a berry - wood thing. Overall, interesting.

Jan 8, 2008 Bottle. Foamed out gently upon opening. Poured out a huge off-white head, red-amber body, little lacing. Aroma was citrus, malts, rich potent and slightly sour. Flavor was in line sour fruit notes, the malt in this is dominate by a spicy sour upfront bite. Medium bodied with lingering tartness.

Présence d’un large col crémeux beige avec une large dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de petits fruits et de raisins avec une pointe de noix. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Jan 6, 2008 Pours gold with a tall effervescent head. Aroma is funky and sour, as well as fruity as some lemon shows through. The flavor is light and funky, not overly sour, with some bready yeast in the finish.

Jan 5, 2008 750 ml bottle. Pours a clear rosy mahogany with a course off-white head. Woody, earthy nose with a hint of fruity twang. Dry medium body. Initially oaky with a touch of vanilla leading to a funky earthy mix of fruit, spice and twang. Finishes dry leaving you to ponder the flavors that passed so quickly.

Jan 3, 2008 Nice head, nice lace, aroma of sour, citrusy aroma. Couldn’t really smell any hops distinctly. Takes sort of like a Flemish sour, but not as musty and with more carbonation in the nose on bigger sips.Mouthfeel just slightly thin, but the distinctive taste that defies easy classification more than makes up for it.Different and enjoyable.I’ll be getting more.
