| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 5, 2009 Updated: Aug 15, 2009Bottle. Pours a dark copper-brown with a thick, white, remarkably persistent head, with spotty/ropey lacing. Nose is brett and sourness, nice tight cider apple and balsamic vinegar notes. Palate is very funky, gets better, and funkier, as it warms, showing loads more fruit, tannins, and malty flavors. Yummy! thelizard (28), Canton, Ohio, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jul 5, 2009 Bottle at the Beer Engine. Pours a reddish-gold with a small white head (which dissipated pretty quickly). Sour aroma, but became more likeable during drinking. Flavor was a very rich, fruity flavor. Smooth, creamy aftertaste. Went very well with rosemary fries.
