Rating #2200. Dark, murky red color with just a perfect finger-width head that does not seem to be going away. Slightly soured and tart cherry aroma. Very nice tart cherry taste right off the bat. This evolves into a good sourness with oak, vanilla and caramel. A little barnyard-like at the end that makes it a definite cousin of a farmhouse ale. This is mighty nice.

Jul 25, 2008 Pours a beautiful red color with a nice short lived off-white head. Aroma is sour, a bit of wood and cherries. Flavor is wonderful. Definitely sour, but not mouth puckering, and the fruit hints in there add a nice bit of complexity. Something else in there I’m having a hard time defining, but I want to say it almost tastes like cut mahogany smells? Not quite right, but man, this is a good beer.

Jul 23, 2008 Very unique. Tried this one with scotch4281. Somewhat wine like in acidity but comes through smooth. Nice balance of sour and fruit.

Jul 22, 2008 (USA) Courtesy of AFI96, thanks waylo !! Pours a nice dark amber color with a med white head. Aroma is of caramel, and some sour cherries. The taste is tart with a hint of vanilla. This was a pretty good ale, i would drink this again.

Jul 22, 2008 When I was drinking this beer, the first impression I got was that it was sour. Then it reminded me of drinking wine like a chardonnay or something along those lines. I would drink this again.

Jul 13, 2008 murky, muddy brown red, with a slight, wheaty color head. aromas of dark stone fruit, and a sour, vegetal earthiness. Slightly acidic-sourness is carried by the carbination to give a cherry and cranberry fruit note at the front. A tart oakiness comes right behind to start a biscuity dry finish, thou the sourness lingers.
