3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle shared at 4:20, thanks Alex. Poured a murky amber, red, brown with a thin white head. Nice fruity aroma with a hint of wood. Tasty fruity flavours with a nice balance of sourness. Very tasty.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Possibly the first sour beer I ever tried, it’s still almost exactly as I remember it being six years ago. Caramel coated sour apples, a bit peppery, I recall thinking there had to be cherries in this and being shocked that there were not. Still paramount to an understanding of the style.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 6/20
Drank straight from the bottle. Initial reaction was surprised because I didn’t know it would be sour. Not bad, but too sour for me

Bottle at home. Aroma is fermented red fruits, oak, light smoke, strawberry infused balsamic vinegar. Sweet / tart, with notes of berries, caramel, dusty old hops, oak, light vanilla, light funk. Decent souring on the finish. Very good.

Bottle shared at the Cotteridge convention, 24/01/2015. Many thanks to Rich the Villain. Hazed orange / amber coloured pour with a lasting loose off white head. Aroma is tart and musty, raspberry. Flavour is composed of woody, tart fruit, musty, little pucker of acid, tart berry, cherry. Palate is sweet and sour, medium body, highish carbonation. A little vinegar notes.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours dark amber. Medium body. Fruit and sour, spices, and cask flavors tastes like whiskey. The fruit is dark like prunes and strawberries. Barrell aging flavor is a medium intensity. Tastes like it is more ABV than it really is. Definitely a sipping beer

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
750 ml bottle at home from notes. Pours a hazy amber/caramel color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have tart cherries, caramel, oak, Jolly Pumpkin funk, a light spicy character, earthy bitterness creeps in, this is more tart than truly sour, always interesting to try these.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
A hazed maroon body supports a solid ring of bone white head with a pair of lace peninsulas
Rustic, juicy aromas and flavors with solid intensity of wine and oak backed by a gnarly earthy sweetness with moments of caramel-banana and bubblegum rounding into an array of fruit flesh offering blueberry, raspberry, peach, pineapple, grapefruit, and mango on a cohesive medium body with very rounded carbonation, resilient basement mold and wood with caramel accents holding on to the last moment of residual
As the residual acids and sweetness layer up, a nutty sense of pecan butter presents itself, a very solid take on the style full of complexity, depth, and bright-rich fruit characteristics
