Gran cervesa.

750 ml. bottle a little over a year aged- Pours hazy golden with a three finger white head that is slowly reducing. Aroma is Belgian yeast, pepper, banana, honestly it smells a lot like a tripel. The taste is fruity, yeasty, very creamy and delicious, some funkiness to add nice depth and a nice hoppy bitterness mostly in the finish. Light on the palate, carbonation is high. Really enjoyed this one, another winner from JP.

Rich copper and amber coloured body with a very thick, tan head. Aroma of sour grapes, malt and caramel. Medium-bodied; Assertive brettanomycs with a very sour flavour, some cherries and a touch of oaky dryness. Some light spices and caramel noticeable on the end as well. Aftertaste clean and smooth with some lingering sour tastes - just like a Jolly Pumpkin beer! Overall, a very nice beer and very far removed from the style. Great to try, especially on tap! I sampled this pint on draught at Hop Cat in Grand Rapids, Michigan on 06-November-2010.

Glowing orange pour, very nice looking beer with a slight offwhite head. I have had many bottles and draft offerings of this beer, but am just getting around to rating it. Aroma is sour grain, peach, sweet grains of paradise, some gueze elements nudge their way in as well. Flavor is tangy wheat, spicy sour yeast, tingling mouthfeel gives way to a tart grain finish with some sour apricot and sweet nectar. Finishes long with a sweet-tart linger. Yum, I think this stuff is lovely.
