Tasted from bottle. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of mostly chocolate with some sour belgian yeast. Taste is at first roasted chocolate malt which quickly gives way to a heavy sourness. Medium bodied with a taste that does cling to palate nicely. If you're a sour fan I'm sure you'd enjoy. Just not my style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle - Roasted malts, farmhouse funk and some spices. Jet black with an orange brown little head. A sour stout, with lambic style sourness followed by dark roast malts. Finish is sour though. Very odd, but I actually like it. The sourness is kept in check with the malts.

It poured a black color with a thin white head. The aroma was of roasted malt, sour fruit, toast and coffee. The taste was sour up front but balanced by the roasted malt flavor, toast, and some hop bitterness. Different, but good.

On tap at Independant Ale House. Pours very dark brown with small reddish tan head. Aromas of roast, chocolate, cherries, and light sugary notes. Flavors of roast, chocolate, cherries, and some tartness. Chalky dry mouthful that goes well with juicy fruit tartness. This breweries offerings are so good on tap.
