COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A rich brown ale inspired by the enigmatic monastic brews of Belgium, and the mysterious mist shrouded jungles of the tropics. Brewed with real cacao, and spiced with cinnamon and sweet orange peel for a sensual delight. A brew to be sipped, savored, and enjoyed!

Orange dark draft pour at fountainhead with white head. Ripe tropical fruit and apricot flavors. A lot going on. Spicy and tropical. Good stuff

Cloudy, deep amber colored, medium creamy beige head. Aroma is of overripe fruits, tart, strong Brett, some orange notes and caramel, light cocoa. Taste is tart fruits, some orange, spicy, candy caramel, medium+ strong wild funkiness and sour, some cocoa but mostly in finish and aftertaste, medium- bitterness, dry. Medium bodied, lively carbonation. Brett conquers all, cacao notes almost don’t get through at all...

Bottle. Pours cloudy amber with good head. Aroma is Sour. Taste is sour and oaky with a sour spicy finish. It’s ok but i won’t likely drink it again.

Tap at the brewpub, Detroit. Pours a little chestnut color, white ring of lacing. Aroma is sour yeast, malt notes, fairly standard from jolly Pumpkin. Flavor is sweet but nutty, to be expected from this. But as usual, good stuff from JP.

From a 75 cl bottle shared at home. Pours a clear copper with an off white head. Aroma of dank earth. Flavors of vinyl. Not finding any cinnamon cocoa or orange. Maybe off?

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2015 Murky amber color with beige head. Aroma is tart, slightly acetic and spicy. Taste is just a bit tart and spicy but no detectable specific spice. Medium body and soft carbonation. Quite nice and easy drinking overall.

The aroma is sweet, smells of dough, earthy. Pours a dark copper orange with big fizzy off white head. The taste is bitter. The body is medium, the texture slick/creamy the carbonation fizzy and the finish bitter. A good beer probably aged too long because of the fizz. This is from 11-24-2010.

Really nice twist with hops and yeasty bitter taste. Orange color. Slight sugar and thick and rich with a nice spice and carbonation. Bottle
