This barrel aged bottled brew poured a very large sized head of foamy fine to medium sized mostly lasting white colored bubbles that left behind a fair lacing. The body contained average carbonation, was hazy and dark orange in color. Its aroma contained notes of banana yeasty malty fruity . Its mouth feel is initially smooth malty yeast ywith a tingly vinous palate and a malt hop spice aftertaste. Its flavor contained yeast malty hoppy banana notes and was tasty. It mild vinous alcohol content is well hidden. Good brew!.

(750ml bottle) Sampled at TiggMTL’s Montreal Crew YEHa!05 Christmas Party on December 17, 2005. Pours a quick dissipating white head with a non cabonated deep golden body. Nose of orange, ginger, spiced, yeast and iodine. Sharp hoppiness without the cascade bite, lime, seville oranges (marmelade). Bitter, lasting acidity in subtle quantities round out the finish. Very good.

Clear golden color with a large white head. Aroma is sweet and spicy with moderate citrisy hop presance. flavor also has plenty of citris and sweet malty feel, bready finish and a very slight sour peppery note. Overall it was good but slightly too sweet.

I got a wonderful deal on a bottle through my girlfriend... This beer pours light golden and mostly clear, with a nice-looking white head. Aroma of spicy and slightly citrusy hops. Body is light but not watery, refreshing, and zesty -- wheaty in a way. A little more citrus in the taste, some pepper/generic "spice," and yeast/bread. Very clean and smooth, fairly dry, with no clues as to its strength. Reminiscent of a biere de garde I had in France last winter. Very good beer -- I like that it is easy to drink but still has a certain level of complexity.

The pour reveals a hazy blonde color with a ring of white lace on top of it. Interesting aroma of candy, fruits, yeast and alcohol. Good flavor of fruits, candy, yeast and alcohol. The palate is light and dry with moderate carbonation. This beer is delicate and subtle, it slowly delivers its secrets sip after sip and makes you want to know more, and have more.
