Bottle. Quite yeasty it has to be said, citrus detergent nose. Carbonated yeasty, lemony, fizzy palate, alcohol shows in the finish, finish is also a touch spicy/peppery, a bit raw.

A hazy orange beer with a disappearing off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of oranges, caramel, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of oranges and alcohol, while the mouthfeel is carbonated and sticky.

not bad, not bad. cremey yet lively mouthfeel; a bit buttery, cheesy, honey or caramel noted, more emphasis on spice than fruitiness, which for me is a plus; a semi-thick, sweet and refreshing ale, but perhaps too lively. i need to dig deeper!

UPDATED: SEP 24, 2005 Bottled at RBESG. Cloudy golden. Grassy aroma. Yeasty and buttery with lively mouthfeel. Dryish with excellent soft malt character. Funky, yet fresh. Really complex, yet drinkable. Very French. I am most impressed!

(Bottle 75 cl) Hazy golden with a fine head. Spicy with lots of malt and some notes of citrus and honey. Way too carbonated. This reminds me more of a bland, standard Belgian Blond. I loved the Roja - this is disappointing. 120805

Bottle. Hazy golden colour with a off-white head. Honey earthy aroma and taste, light fruity. Medium body and a sweet finish.

Slightly cloudy deep copper with a minimal head. Lots of alcohol and yeast in the aroma and in the flavor. Under that there’s some nuttyness and some dark fruits coming out. Tasted almost like a belgian strong. I can definitely see this beer aging well.

(750ml bottle) Pours a cloudy amber body with an average off-white head. Aroma of sugar cookie dough, butterscotch, honey, vanilla, coriander, and banana. Flavor of butterscotch, raisin, malt, banana bread, and spices.

Bottle at GTMW. Aroma of honey, clove, celery, sweet and buttery. Pale, cloudy yellow without much of a head. Sweet flavor, lots of clove and black pepper then hint of corn and a grassy finish. Light body, dry texture, again very crisp. I am liking Jolly Pumpkin so far.

Bottle RBESG. Way too alcoholic. It burns my throat. Thin, dry, unbalanced. Sharp, even sour flavor.
