3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Jonathan3584 (323) - Washington, Washington DC, USA - JUN 27, 2005Orange/copper body. Both the aroma and the body are one dimensional sweet candy and caramel flavors with spices in the background. Medium bodied. Easy to drink and hides the 8% well, but not that interesting.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 rgfellow (84) - - JUN 17, 2013
Bottle at home. Pours a hazy yellow with minimal head/lacing. Aroma is floral and barnyard. Taste is bretty with hints of pepper. Finish is light and somewhat sweet with low carb. Interesting beer - would drink again.

Light golden pour with a foamy white head. Aroma is cherry pie and lemony with a hint of barnyard funk and wood. Flavor is a bit tart and very interesting. Some spicy hop in there and that Bretty funk as well. Very dry finish. Pretty dang good

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20 OKplus (560) - Oklahoma, USA - JUN 7, 2013
Batch 818 Bottled 9-15-2011
A - Pours a golden apple juice color with a milky white head that paints a micro thin ocean of bubbles. Some lacing left behind.
S - Very woody, lemon and orange citrus zest, tart lactic acid, grapes, pomegranate, Granny Smith apples, peppery spice, tart banana comes through as it warms.
T - Tart orange candy, reminds me of an old sweet tart candy. Bright lemon citrus shines over the musty church pew yeast in the background, but creates very nice balance. Lots of fruit - lemon, pear, apple, muted grapes, a mix of banana and pineapple. Freshly cut wood, flowers, acidic, lemongrass, vague vanilla. Finishes with a clean tartness.
M - Light to medium body, zesty and refreshing, silky smooth feel, dry finish.
The high points of this beer is balance. Sweet, tart, woody, yeasty, refreshing. The aroma is bigtime here. Flavor is a little more subtle but very good balance. Highly recommended!

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 baraciisch (958) - USA - JUN 7, 2013
Light yellow orange in color... Aroma of sour tart and citrus... Flavor is sour up front with notes of butter and oak, like a nice Chardonnay. Balanced by slight hops, citrus sweetness, and crispness... Delicious

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Hopped_Silly (248) - California, USA - JUN 2, 2013
Bottle. Batch 1158. Bottled 2-14-2013. Vibrant golden yellow. Oak barrel nuances are prominent, though matched with funky, lemon citrus, bitter grapefruit, fresh cut green apple, white grape skins, yeast and barrel spice. Mildly tart and sour. DRY and mouthwatering. Medium-light bodied. Spicy, oaky, mildly bitter citrus finish. Solid.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 GranvilleTim (1248) - Granville, Illinois, USA - MAY 31, 2013
Batch 1158, bottled 2-14-2013. Golden yellow pour with a white head. Aroma is wonderful-oak, sour, funky goodness. A beer you enjoy the aroma as much as the taste. Taste is a pallette refresher. Oak goodness, a little sour, funky flavor, cleansing, refreshing goodness. So-so lacing.

Flaske fra batch 463 på Cardinaltreff mai-13: aroma av brett og litt humle. En fin sommerdrikk men med en besk syrlighet på tross av lagringen på eikefat har gitt den litt sødme og a touch of vanilla. Artig etikett, men allikevel ingen stor skattekiste for meg.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 swesson (21) - Highlands Ranch, Colorado, USA - MAY 7, 2013
Not a favorite. Too tart. No head. Kind of a wheat beer, but without the weight. Meh.
