(Bottle 75 cl) Hazy golden with a fine head. Spicy with lots of malt and some notes of citrus and honey. Way too carbonated. This reminds me more of a bland, standard Belgian Blond. I loved the Roja - this is disappointing. 120805

UPDATED: SEP 24, 2005 Bottled at RBESG. Cloudy golden. Grassy aroma. Yeasty and buttery with lively mouthfeel. Dryish with excellent soft malt character. Funky, yet fresh. Really complex, yet drinkable. Very French. I am most impressed!

Pigs Ear Festival, Hackney. Bottle. Citrus orange and lemon. Light and fruity. Quite a dry crisp palate. Hint of pepper. A real palate cleanser inbetween British Brown Bitters!

Hazy blond color; nice creamy head. Mild aroma, of malt, a bit spicy and with a touch of citrus fruits and lemon peel. Good mouthfeel, strong and smooth, with some malt flavor, elegant spices, lemon peel and a sour touch from the wild yeast, which is probably the only trace of the oak cask. Correct bitterness. Very pleasant.
