On tap at Baileys - poured a bright golden with a huge whipped cream head. Funky barnyard pears and spice. A nice sharp acidity balanced out by earthy hops. A beautiful beer.

Aroma is clove, lemon grass, funk, straw, and light vinegar. Taste is light sweet malts, red wine, soured grapes, and tart. Faint hints of passionfruit and apricot. The sourness actually fades away which is quite impressive for the genre. Appearance is a cloudy orange with a thin pearl head that retains fairly well.

Pours hazy golden with a large white head. Smells of wheat, fruit, subtle funk and tartness. Taste is funky, light tartness, subtle fruit and breadiness. Medium-bodied with a fizzy texture and lively mouth-carbonation, Jolly Pumpkin Oro de Calabaza finishes with a short lasting funkiness.

Aroma is tart, sweet fruity hops, dusty, barnyard, musky. Appearance is hazy, straw golden, white head. Taste is citrus, tart, barnyard, dusty, earthy hops, nice. Mouthfeel is dry, light to medium body, crisp carbonation, dusty aftertaste. Overall, this one is quite delicious. Like a tarter version of Orval.

Aromas are diverse - floral hops, coriander, herbs and spices, though they are also hard for me to pin down to specific aromas. Color is a fairly light gold with a touch of haziness. Head is white and average to a bit large, though not too long lasting. Taste is dry, bitter and sour. Medium bodied; carbonation is a bit lively; dry and crisp; finish is fairly long, starting with the carbonation which leads into the crisp, sour, floral bitterness. Overall a fairly different and interesting beer; has a fairly good number of different aspects to it and makes you think about how to describe them.

(En fût au O’Briens): Des pêches, des fleurs et des épices dans un environnement habité par des bretts bien fournies et un bois enrobant. Elle gagne tellement à respirer et à gagner quelques degrés. Superbe.

2016/03/11 - Pours a hazy yellow straw colour with a foamy white head that quickly reduces and leaves no lacing. Aroma is woody (oak), sour lemon, spices, yeast and some funky notes. Taste is oak, peppery notes, tart lemon, yeast and some funk. Mouthfeel is light to medium with smooth carbonation and a sharp, lightly acidic, drying finish. Good but not great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A hazy yellow draft. Woody, lemon aroma. Flavors of lemon, a little funk but not much, def woody. Yeast and brett are big, spicy. Pretty sour finish. Pretty clean and juicy mouthfeel. Balanced but not as interesting as I hoped.

With Z, pours a golden light orange color with a small ephemeral white head . Nose is straight up oak and pleasant yeast, with some nice sourness. Taste is oak as well with a pleasant fruity sourness. Finishes on he same tasting notes with a short acidic finish. Nice, a Belgian Strong Ale ??? Quaff Score 8 / 10
