bottle. poured a mostly clear yellow gold with a huge white head that doesn’t go away and leaves huge lacing. good deep smell, with orange and lemon, some funk, and maybe even a little grape. more citrus hops in the flavor, with a bunch of spice, a bit more funk, and a bit of a woody note creeping in. very dry finish, with a touch of sour and a good bitter tingle. medium quenching body, with tons of carbonation. tasty, different, champagne-like. i will definitely have this again.

I found this one the summer of 2006 at Naja’s Place in Redono Beach, one of our favorite brew spots here in Los Angeles. A must if your ever in the south bay. Pours a very nice looking clear golden color with a big frothy white head. Aroma of fruit, apple, some spice, citrus. Flavor is of spice, citrus, orange, coriander, a touch peppery and that Jolly Pumpkin funk that I enjoy so much, great summer afternoon at the beach brew.

Bottle at home - shared with Mette. Cloudy orange/yellow - white head. Fruity, peppey, yeasty, nice citrus hoppy, peach, brett, byness, light light wood, wheaty, funk, spicy, corinader ??. Ok nice !!

Nice looking clear golden body - big white head. Lots of fruit in this - apples dominate but there are some peachy notes as well. Moderate clove spice and big yeasty character. Almost a light mint essence as well. Slight floral hop component at the finish. Well designed drink.

Cloudy gold with big, foamy white head / Floral, orchard citrus brett nose / Medium body, tart & crisp with fine, elegant carbonation and lingering, dry finish / Funky flavors of green apples, oranges, pineapple, bananas, oak, chrysanthemum, coriander, and black pepper / Is there a better brewer alive than JP?
