3.4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
355mL courtesy of ygtbsm94. Pours a hazy orange with a thin white head. Unreal sour cherry, funky, oaky, sweaty, salty aroma. Whoa! Some lactic notes in the nose. Taste is not too sour, a bit sweaty, verging on watery/thin body. Meh.

Had during RBWG 2010. The aroma is big sour but the flavor is diet Sprite on wood, not nearly as impressive.

Bottle, @ a dickensonbeer tasting, thanks mikeTD. Amber pour with white head. Vinous flavors, brett, sour cherry, the expected jolly pumpkin yeast notes, some earthy tones.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle… RBWG ‘10… Lightly hazy golden ale with a small, fat-bubbled, white head. The aroma is funky, woody and absolutely bursting-at-the-seams with black cherries, toffee and assorted berries. Medium-bodied and brisk with tickling carbonation. Good balance. Tart, but well-bittered - tannins, hops and yeast. Tangy, lightly bitter, dry finish. Thanks to GoT for sharing!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz bottle, batch #5, 2010. Poured into Duvel tulip.
A - Pours a reddish/brown with very little head. There’s a touch of lacing along the sides of the glass and a few bubbles on the top, but really not much else to speak of.
S - Medium funk, less then expected, but it’s def there. Sour apples, brown sugar, sweet tarts, and a touch of spice.
T - Similar to the nose. Medium funk, slight sweetness. I def would have liked a little more funk/tart, that’s for sure. It’s a good beer, but it’s not blowing me out of the water. Needs more funk!
M - Light to medium, slight carbonation, dry finish.
D - I easily drank the 12oz bottle with no problems. There are other sours out there that are easier to get and beat this one with no problems. That said, I won’t be turning down a chance to try this one again.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Perseguidor 5... Pours a nice cloudy mahogony red with a thin soapy
white head... A nice blend of brown ale and tart cherry with a nice
subtleness all around ... Flavors are of muted tart cherry with medicinal notes which remain semi- tart with very little vinegar perkiness which I was expecting from the nose. Having said that, still inviteable/drinkable nonetheless. a nice easy drinking sour.

Bottle shared by pantanap. Pour is slightly cloudy ruby reddish brown with a thin almost non-existent beige head, Aroma is tart with lots of cherry and fresh berries. Smells rich, tart, and wonderful. Flavor is notably woody with smooth tartness, light earth, and light hay. Crisp finish. Tasty and complex.

12oz from pimpp, thanks. Pours orange with a tan head. Nose is slightly sweet, clearly tart. Taste is tart, vinegarry and sadly underwhelming. Not bad, but not great.
