Draft at Churchkey, 5/23/14. Pours a hazy yellow color with a thin creamy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of bready, doughy malts, bright citrus, stone fruits, yeast. Taste is tart citrus, bready malt, pepper in the finish. Medium bodied, low carbonation, lingering tartness, refreshing.

I had a couple of ~2 oz samples at the Boulevardia Taps & Tastes in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is orange golden with a bit of off white head. The aroma is the juniper right away, along with a gentle tart spice. The taste is a nice blend between the juniper, the earthy pepper and a spice tartness. Bright flavors, nicely balanced. The palate is medium to light bodied, active carbonation and a clean tart slightly sour finish. Nice one.

8oz pour at PPD. Very hazy straw gold with some fast fading white head. Nose has some green olive, lemon, some lime too, mild grass, cheese rind, mild spice. Flavor is limey, lemony, mild grass, a little cheesy, white grape. Peppery finish.

Taster on tap at Churchkey. Almost entirely hazy golden color. Thin white ring of head. Leaves decent ridges of lace. Definite earthy berry 9in the nose, then the peppercorn in the flavor. Awesome bigger tart / light sour very oaky aroma. classic Jolly Pumpkin, reminds me of Oro de Calabaza. Smooth, soft, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Medium to bigger body. Great texture. Awesome saison. Very enjoyable one to sip on. Good stuff.

On tap @ Jeffrey. Pours deep amber orange with lasting off white fluffy head. Aroma is apple, pear, peppercorn, funky mold, lime, apricot. Taste is not too dry, funky green apple, pepper, light dough, lime, definite spice / light sour on finish but almost more spice than tart, unusual for JP. Really enjoyable.
