3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Hazy copper pour with white head. Aroma of rather typical JP funk, nice fruitiness is present though, lots of passion fruit and cherry. Taste is really fruity, sweet, pineapple like acidity, not really that sour. Palate is silky smooth, nice sweetness. Bugs can probably work on this beer a lot more still.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle via Mike from the other site. Pours a light amber with slight white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is totally Jolly Pumpkin. Sour, fruit in the distance. Taste is tropical fruit forward. Guava, passion fruit, mango. The sour is not overpowering but very Jolly Pumpkin like and the tropical fruit really stands out. Very drinkable sour that is unique.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A funky scent. There is a prominent fruit aroma. As for flavor I taste cherries and some tropical type of fruit that mixes well to create a subtle tartiness. Its weak on the sour side and is an easily drinkable beverage. Overall it’s not a memorable drink but it was well liked.

750 ml bottle via local trade- thanks, Kevin! Blend 10. Bottled 5/24/12. Pours a consistently cloudy fruit juice-amber color with a small off-white head that immediately settles into a wisp of film. Aroma of fruity funk, oak, tea, pears, plums, floral notes- smooth and subtle. Flavor of tea, oaky funk, leaves, floral notes, lemon, plum, spice, and apple. Light-medium bodied, with a tart, dry, earthy mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Nicely done. Unmistakably Jolly Pumpkin.

Pours bright dark amber into a snifter. Off-white head with good retention pancakes and recedes leaving trailing sheets. Tropical and summer pit fruit aromas. Medium bodied with sweet tropical fruit and aspirin upfront turning to mildly tart passion fruit and summer berries in the lasting finish.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
The pour is a hazy, rusty, red color with a moderate, creamy, fizzy, off-white head which is mostly diminishing and leaves minimal, soapy lace. The nose is enticing and funky, tropical floral notes all over, passionfruit, star fruit, tart cherries, musty oak, barnyard. The flavor is less complex than the nose with lots of tart cherries, some lighter tropical fruit, oaky, and slightly funky. The palate is light to medium, lively, drying, and somewhat quenching. The finish is tart and dry with oak and lots of lingering cherries. An intense, inviting nose is this one with a lot of oak and cherry in the flavor. The fruit additions were complementary and the acidity was nice for the beer. A good sour and a bit unexpected from Maui but not from JP.
