Bottle. Mostly clear reddish-orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is tart, sour, and fruity, cherries and passion fruit coming through. Taste is mild sweet, with the familiar JP funk and acidity. Finish is very dry. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Solid.

Batch 6 5/10/12. Poured a rich clear reddish copper with a khaki head that didn’t last but left some nice lacing. aroma when this was 1st poured in my glass got a strong harsh sour cherry aroma and some herbs, as it warmed the heavy sourness gave way the a nice mild sourness and got some sweetness like honey. flavor tart cherries and lemon zest, floral. GOOD BEER

Pours a deep reddish amber from the bottle into tulip. Big creamy off white head that retains a bit for a sour. Big sour notes with tropical fruits, lots of cherries, and vinegar. BIG sour start, with lots of fruit. Mellows as it goes down without much lingering on the palate. Dry start to finish. Light and effervescent. A true sour first beer. Good stuff.

Bottle, shared at Øltorget Mathallen march 5th 2013. Hazy dark red body, small white head. Aroma of raspberries, barnyard, caramel, cherries. Taste is lightly on the sour side with cherries and yeast, though balanced with caramel malt and vanilla. Earthly hops showing after a while, with a light sour and bitter aftertaste. Lots of taste in this one.

White head, quick to disappear. Sour aroma, not too sharp sour aroma. Copper colored and a little murky. Tart sour right up front that carries through with a little bit of malt body. Overall an excellent beer.

Shared this bottle at a local tasting, thanks to rayl101 for sending this a while back ago! Pours a cloudy light brown with a thin head, the aroma is pretty funky with some fruit and oak, the flavor has a nice cherry fruit touch with some light sourness, not overpowering by any means, light mouthfeel, I really dug this stuff.

A - Hazy red-orange with a finger of frothy khaki-tan head. Fades normal.
S - Sour grapes, cherries, and other fruits, oak, vanilla, funky Brett other sour yeasts, orange and lemon zest, biscuity malts.
T - Sour cherries, grapes, other fruits, oak, vanilla, funky Brett, lactic acid, other yeasts, orange and lemon zest, bready malts.
M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Smooth with a tart and sour finish.
D - Good fruity sour beer. Nice balance.

Bottle Blend 4 - bottled 5-8-2012: Amberish, a bit hazy, moderate frothy head, sandy, nice lacing. Soft tart nose, pale woodiness, a touch of cherry. All of this is fairly subtle. Soft and subtle on
the tongue. Similar to the nose. Yeah, soft example, one that may be a good starter for someone into the style. Body and mouthfeel are moderate. Slightly dry finish. Good stuff, thought it would be a bit
more brutish, but as is (subtle), its still tasty.
