3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle to tulip. Pours light clear golden with lots of bubbles and a big fluffy white head. Somewhat yeasty dry aroma for a hefe--though that seems to be what they’re going for here--with light clove, banana, and tart apples. Crisp bitter and prickly carbonation up front, some sweet apples in the middle, finishing with a yeasty wheat kick. Some white wine qualities here. Dry on the tongue and easy drinking. A definite summer brew.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at 2nd tuesday tasting. @ de Molen, hosted by dEnk. Hazy yellow pour, no head. Aroma of raspberries, spicy, dry white wine and some lactic acids. Flavor is very sour and fruity. A bit strange and a little too thin and sour for me.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 6/20
Smell is acidic with hints of grape. Taste is less acidic then you would expect because of the smell. Not much palete.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at the De Molen, second Tuesday tasting, August 2013. Poured a light champagne like colour with no head at all and loads of carbonation. The aroma is acidic citrus fruit leading to a medium sour flavour with lots of apple acid and not a lot else. I didn’t get the cloves or the banana as promised by the brewers. Quite drinkable though and would probably appeal to wine drinking ladies.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cloudy light lemon yellow color, medium to small white head, wispy lasting with good lace. Lemon, citrus, light fruity, wheat, a little spice. A little tart and sour, a little earthy bitter, fairly dry. Nice carbo. Crisp, refreshing, and smooth. I enjoyed it.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
75cl bottle. The first non gusher from JP. And you gat the reason straight away when you smell the acidity from the glass. It pours hazy straw yellow with a medium small white head. Quite fizzy, the soapy foam dissipates quickly. Aroma is funky, barnyard, hay and some acidity. Taste is acidic and wheaty with funky dust and lemon zest. Very citrusy. Mouthfeel is light with fizzy carbonation. Overall, a great refreshing summer beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at craft ale house. Pours hazy yellow with a huge white head with tons of retention. The aroma has sweet banana, spices, some very light funk. The taste has a mild vinegar quality, some sweetness from the banana, and a bit of light clove. Really delicate.
