COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The fourth in our Bam Farmhouse series, and perhaps our most adventurous; a traditional farmhouse style hefeweizen. Weizen Bam seamlessly blends traditional German style hefeweizen yeast with our own local wild and sour cultures, for a melange of the most flavorful sort. Ruddy golden, with yeast driven esters of banana, spicy clove, and nutmeg all wrapped up with a generous dose of good-natured rapscallion delight.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fiver29. Hazy pale yellow with a lively off-white head that quickly dissipates. Thin body, quite watery actually, dry and vaguely tart with a massive carbonation and a hint of sulphur. Finishes rather dry. Nothing much happening here really. 010509

Bottled, at tasting at _angst_. Cloudy pale golden, lively head. Aroma of buckwhear and lemon. Dry and light bodied, fairly crisp. Fruity with notes of horse blanket, coriander and lemon. No bitterness. Nicely drinkable, complex and very distinctive. Yet it does not lift like some of the best beers from this brewer.

Bottle, 75cl, at Haandbryggeriet homebrew contest. It’s a hazy orange-golden, slightly yellowish beer with a big, lasting white head. Banana and lemon dominates the aroma, which is also slightly grainy. Pleasant hops. Lemony flavor, some pale malts and a tiny spiced touch. Peaches too. Medium body with a nice carbonation. Long citrusy, orange flavor with a touch of banana. Quenching and tasteful, sure a beer I’d buy a few of if available in the stores. 110212
