Pours very light hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma of funk, lemon, wheat, and oak. Taste is the same with a very tart dry finish. Great beer for a hot day. Go Grim!!!!

Dec 1, 2008 Like the other bams this has a tart mild sour finish, light wheat to it, very crisp with a soft earthy hopping, soft citrus, mild hint of lemon. Very similar to how I remember bam, I need to try this and the original side by side.

Nov 28, 2008 thin and tart with not much flavor has got some taste of what a standard Hefeweizen but the sourness makes it unique to really enjoy anywhere to go around.

Nov 26, 2008 The aroma is sour and very much like a farmhouse ale with the funkiness dialed down. There is definitely funkiness in the form of the barnyard smell but it’s not super strong. There is also plenty of malt and a touch of hops. The wheat beer elements are very dialed down. I don’t really taste or smell much banana, clove, nutmeg, or bubble gum. The taste is just like the aroma. The appearance is hazy gold with a large head. The palate is thin. Overall not one of my favorites.

Nov 20, 2008 Bottle obtained from Knightly Spirits. Pours a cloudy golden/straw color with a big rocky head. Aroma is of yeast, citrus and some earthy notes. Flavor is very refreshing and well balanced. Citrus blends with some spice, light fruit and a nice tart finish. Very solid beer once again from JP.
