3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 portableparty (1596) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - NOV 13, 2012750ml bottle (batch 817 bottled 6-16-2011). First pours crystal clear gold with floaties and a soft white soapy head that dissipates to a film and collar, second and third pour is cloudy. Aroma has subtle, but nice sour tartness with some lemon orange peel and yeast. Taste has solid tartness and lactic flavors with subtle citrus lemon and yeast with a nice bitterness and bready biscuit finish. Palate is medium and very fizzy with a drying finish. Nice brew with a lot of dryness.

Pours gold w/ thin white head that doesn’t leave lacing. The aroma is quite sour. The taste definitely leans toward the hefeweizen side w/out much influence from the sour. It’s pretty refreshing & drinkable but not outstanding.

This poured a hazy straw yellow color with a fluffy white head. looked like liquid lemon morange pie glowing against the fire light. Aroma was of bright lemons, grass, wheat, light spices, and mild funky oak. Flavor was just as complex and refreshing as I was expecting from the appearance/aroma. wheaty lemony woody funk juice. Probably the most refreshing beer i’ve ever had.

Aroma of banana peel, pilsner yeast, sourdough, and wheat. Pours opaque blonde with a mild head. Taste is lovely. Sour lemon peel, yeasty bread, juicy underripe banana, and just a bit of dry champagne. Very flavorful throughout. Easy to drink beer.
