Very delicate. Malty fruitiness that turns to flavorhops. Aroma is sweet and hoppy. Balanced carbonation and bitterness. This is what a bitter should be like - and tihs was a young one saxo (2435), Hřjbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark Apr 24, 2008 Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden amber. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Orange colour. MOsderate malty and hoppy aroma, licorice notes. Powerfull nice bitter flavor. Average bitter finish. Creamy palate. Excellent bitter. Mungo (2474), Southampton, Hampshire, England Sep 29, 2007 Cask conditioned @ Hobgoblin, Reading. Odd perfumey floral fruit. Fairly sweet with some caramel but there’s just about enough bitterness to keep it drinkable.
