Clear medium amber color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, toffee, butter notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20090804]

Cask@GBBF2009. Golden colour, small off-white head. Aroma is fruits, wood, mild diacetylic notes as well. Flavour is quite much the same.

Cask @ GBBF 2009. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor with some hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty caramel finish.

Cask at GBBF. Clear amber beer. Light malt, some subtle hop. Standard stuff - okay but just another English bitter. Nuff said!

A little diacetyl. Golden coloured slightly sweet on the palate and fruity with some bitterness in a crisp malt finish.

UPDATED: MAR 18, 2010 Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 28/1/08. Deep golden colour with a decent off-white head. Red fruit, hay and floral hop aroma. Full mouth feel with flavours of biscuit malt and grassy hops followed by a bitter finish. Very drinkable [3.5]. Re-rate at the Seven Stars, Bristol 18/03/10. I got the diacetyl this time.............[2.9]
