Hazy - murky matt medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, caramel, pale malt, wood, backing yeast, smoke - roten fish, moderate yeasty, light hoppy, fruity. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, smoke - roten fish notes. IMO. quit messy and very well made !! Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is smoked. Towards burned plastic. Bitter, smoked and dry. Light chemical touch. Dry and smoked into the far finish. I guess there are more than reason as to why some beerstyles died, not sure there are as many reasons to revive the styles.

Draft. An unclear yellow beer with à lazing white head. The aroma has notes of smoke, malt, And leather. The flavor is sweet with notes yeast, smoke, leather, And Wood, leading to à dry finish.

Draft @ Mikkeller & Friends, Copenhagen. Pours a hazy yellow color with a white head. Has a fruity malty spicy aroma. Fruity malty grainy spicy caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty grainy spicy caramel finish.

Tasting at Bruce’s pad. Thanks Paul. Hazy gold beer, little white head. Light crisp palate. Airy malt with fairly robust white smoke. Finishes light and dry with mild minerals and a touch of citrus.

Draft at Churchkey. Cloudy pale yellow color, fluffy white head, delicate lacing. Aroma of straw, lemon, haylofts. Taste is smooth peppery citrus. Nice.

Bottle at Bruce’s, London. Thanks to Paul for some rare styling. Pours murky, pale yellow-gold with a moderate, frothy white head. Some sweet dough on the nose, hints of peaty smoke. Light sweet flavor, fairly dry, some minerals, moderate smoke, hay. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Dry finish, minerally, some white smoke, hints of lemon, ham, hay, dry dough. Pretty novel stuff.

Bottle from Bierkompass. Murky yellow/apricot color with a small but lasting white head. Smoked wood aroma, fruity, vanilla, caramel, some lemon. Smoked flavor, woody, caramel, ash, vanilla, citrus, grapes. Far from your average beer, but kinda interesting.
