COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed by Huyghe for Jopen (www.jopen.nl). Until 2006 brewed by Van Steenberge. Adrian Rosé has a sunny character due to the combination of refreshing whitebeer and the soft sweetness of red fruit. This mix leads to a surprising beer with a sensuous taste. Celebrate the summer with Adriaan Rosé.

Red/Pink coloured beer with a white head. Medium carbonation. It has the smoothness typical to the Adriaan white beer. No bitterness, in stead it has a herbal note. The taste is dominated by wheat and a lot of fruit. Raspberry and strawberry are dominating. A fruit beer is not really my cup of tea, so this one isn’t either.

Rötlich-bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch süß nach Himbeeren, leicht herb, fruchtig. Geschmack ebenfalls süß nach Himbeeren, nur leicht malzig.

(Draught at Jopenkerk, Haarlem, 27 Feb 2014) Reddish amber colour with dense, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of red berries, raspberries and a touch of bread. Fruity, malty taste with read berries (raspberries, strawberries), white bread and a sweet, slightly sugary finish with almost no bitterness. Medium body. Fairly refreshing, but quite unnecessary. Decent.

Tap at the Jopenkerk. Poured a hazy medium amber with a reddish hue and a frothy white head with bags of lace. The aroma is zesty sherbet citrus raspberry. The flavour is medium sweet with a bubbly fake candarel sweetener like palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. I don’t wish to appear sexist, but this is more likely to appeal to a lady than your average male ticker.

Poured clear amber, no head. Aroma of very sweet berries. Medium body, flavour of sweet blackcurrant.

I don’t like this rosé beer trend, all these beers taste way too much like lemonade. This one is a little bit better than the other rosé beers though, thanks to a subtle note of herbs.

Hazy cherry red with redish off-white foam head. Aroma is fruity (duhh), strawberry taste. Nice variation for a change. (Haarlem 201304) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Gedronken met dutchdrebus, ruikt naar framboos, cranberry, granaatappel, ranja, heel zoet maar ik vind dat wel lekker ruiken (en smaken)

Bottle @ home. Smells like ’danoontje’, artificial sweet fruity smell, strawberry. Tastes strawberry, artificial, fake fruits, sweet. Thin to medium body (mostly because of the syruppy sweetness), fizzy carbo.
