Bottle. Unclear hazy light to medium grey red color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to light light red head. Aroma is moderate to heavy raspberry and fruit sugar. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (080408)

I am not a fan of rose’s and this one is no different. It pours reddish color with no head. Tastes like cranberry juice and strawberry medicine.

Deep red-pinky color, small pinky head. Strong rasberry juice/stones aroma. Medium-bodied. Sweetish flavor with semi-artifical rasberry and red currant berryish flavors. A bit tart with hints of rasberry stones but also light note of cardboard. Closer to a soft drink than a beer.

No head whatsoever. Could easily pass for cranberry juice. Smells a bit of strawberry candy/medicine. Tried with Jess in the Cafe in de Waag, Amsterdam

Pours reddish orange with a white head. Aroma is strawberry, raspberry and light malt. Flavour is malt, strawberry and raspberry. Dry and light bitter.

Pours a hazy and reddish brown beer with a white head. The aroma is strawberries and sweetness. The flavor follows the nose with additional notes of acidity. The palate is sweetness. Overall a boring beer.

Bottle @ home, shared with my girlfriend. Hazy murky reddish color, small white to off-white lacing. Smell yoghurt, peaches, fruity. Taste fruity, yoghurt and some artificial berries: not very nice. Low carbonation, low body.

Bottle from Bierzwerg. Bottle. Hazy red color with medium white head. Aroma strongly of raspberries. Taste, raspberries, caramel. To sweet for me.

Seems that what makes a Rose beer good or not is the overwhelming sweetness. This beer isn’t very sweet and therefore quite palatable. Has the flavor and even palate of the Dutch drink Roosvicee, which is good stuff. Bottle from Burg Bieren Ermelo.

Cloudy pale red with a small white head. Aroma of strawberry candy with a hint of dusty grain. Sweetish strawberry flavour with a faint tart touch.
