Honey, toasted wheat, pepper, cardamom, nutmeg, sweat aromas. Flavor introduces some grapefruit tartness. Lightly sweet, moderately acidic flavor. Lightly sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter finish. Medium body, oily texture, moderate carbonation. Interesting to be sure, just not the best drinking experience. Spices are all muted and the tartness is a bit overpowering. vanvenlo (794), Glen Iris, Australia

I have drunk the beer from the bottle and it had not much carbonic acid. The initial flavor taste is like water with a light spicy afther tast. JK (2949), Richfield, Minnesota, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 13, 2005 Aroma of butter, grapefruit and wheat like a wit, and light herbs. Orange with small pieces of brown sediment. the same aromas are also founds as flavors. There is more grapefruit. Dry, grassy finish. finish. Reminds me of some heather beers I have tasted. This is not suitable for sipping, but the flavors are best experienced when consumed as a session beer. But at $5 for the 12 oz, that isn’t really possible. mikeben (344), Naperville, Illinois, USA

Not bad I like this sdtyle very much but as wits go this is nothing special. It sounds real interesting when you read the copy but it is rather watery if crisp. Better then many beers but for its style just OK. bu11zeye (5442), Frisco, Texas, USA
