Lunkie (1006), Glen Iris, Australia Jul 13, 2008 Strong burnt hop aroma with malt. Cloudy amber colour with poor head and lacing. Sharp bitter burnt malt hop flavour. Fizzy palate.
Borresteijn (525), Amstelveen, Netherlands Aug 11, 2008 Bottle from a gift pack. Hazy yellow amber colour, white head. Aroma of spices, citrus, some yeast and coriander. Flavour is sweet, citrus, wheat and unusual spices/herbs. At first it tastes like a witbier, but after a few sips the unusual herb flavours come out and becomes cloying. Definitely something else, but not too good. imdownthepub (4017), Banbury, Oxfordshire, Oxfordshire, England Jul 14, 2008 Bottle, 330ml at Cafe t’Kanon, Ghent. Amber to brown, clouded, with white head. Powerful boiled cabbage aroma the beer is heavy sweet and vegetal, not much in the way of character apart from being unusual. note666 (200), Eindhoven, Netherlands Jun 29, 2008 300 ml bottle. hazy yellow colour. white fading head. taste is citrus, like a white beer, but more watery Geuzelambix (61), København, Denmark Jun 23, 2008 Not a good beer, though the aroma is deacent.
