Bottle thx to joes. Just slightly hazy orange with a small white head. Smells a bit old. Might not be that fresh. Tastes a bit buttery, menure.. Guess the beer isn’t fresh or just not a beer i like.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Orange body, big white head. Resiny hop aroma, lots of caramel. Little thin, does not have enough body for the hops. Aroma promises more than the beer can deliver. Very belgian IPA.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Fast gone off-white ehad, fully hazy orange beer with a pinkish sheen. Sweet rosewater, but nothing else, rather dull nose. Rosewater, and plain water. Some exotic fruitesters, from the hops, and some more yeast-linked esters. Medium bodied, quite slick, at the edge of syrupy. Disappointing, ti’s not bad, but the hops come as an afterthought, rather as main point for an iPA.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 15 July 2011) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with orange peel, caramel and grapefruit. Malty, fruity taste with notes of orange peel, grapefruit, apricots and slightly grainy malt. Generous citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with some sweetness. Nice one.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Bert’s Bierhuis, Utrecht. Orange/amber pour with a big white head. Head turns beautiful into a small steady foam. Lacing on the glass. A lot of hops in the aroma with hints of grapefruit, citrus and more hops. Taste starts big with a lot of hops. Far more bitter than I expected. Good finish with hoppy notes that linger a while. This was a very good IPA!
