3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Brown with with a sizeable light tan head. Fruity aroma with sweet fruits, somewhat roasted and with a dark nutty base. Medium body; the carbonation doesn’t work too well for me here. It seems to fit neither an IPA nor a stout. Maybe better just brew a black IPA? Enough flavour tough; not bad at all. (At Botermarkt Bierfestival Haarlem)

Tap @ In De Wildeman.Almost black color (not quite opaque). Beige, dense head, some lacing. Aroma’s: no strong aroma’s - some resinous hops and some sweet & roasted malts. Flavor is hardly sweet, drop/laurel, light bitter. Body is medium; prickly carbonation. Somewhat dry finish, but just lightly bitter and roasted. I expected better.
