I had this one a long time ago. If I have the chance to drink it again, I’ll update this rating

Bottle. Dark color with tan head that leaves lacing until the end. Aroma is complex, hints of coffee, roasted malt, dark fruits, chocolate. Flavor is quite bitter with roasted malt dominating, some dark fruits also. Mouthfeel is long and very well balanced with bitterness and and roasted malt.

33 cl bottle @ Gieten. dark red/brown with a tan head. Just a decent stout. Coffee, roasted malts and some bitterness.

This was the first Jopen beer I’ve ever had and its still one of my favorites. Dark brown color with a thin off white head. Coffee aroma and flavor with some dark fruit and a bit of foot at the end.

Good stout, one actually taste a little alcohol in spite of only 5.5%. OK beer with good head.

Reddish brown with a small, tan head. Coffee and malty tones. Malt, coffee and hops. Medium body with a dry finish.

color: dark brown to black, white creamy foam. Aroma: caramel, roasted coffee

Bottle from a Mitra off licence, Amsterdam, Netherlands, October 2011 consumed at Isobels, Eardisley, Herefordshire 15.10.11 . Pours dark brown.
