Dark brown beer with a medium brown head. Extremly sweet toffee and caramel aroma with medium notes of roasted malt. Light and very sweet flavor with a minor bitter finish

Thick, creamy head. Bitter, roasted aroma. Rich, silky texture. Bitter and dry on the tongue. Hints of coffee, cocoa and liquorice come through and a faint hint of smoke.

Deep brown with a small cream colored head. Aroma is of chocolate, lactose and cream. Flavor is bitter chocolate and plums, but it’s a little watery.

I had this on tap in Amsterdam. It took 5 minutes to pour and had the most beautiful head I have ever seen. It was rich, malty, and chocolaty. I drank a lot of good, mainly Belgian, beers in Amsterdam and this one was probably my favorite.

bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Looks is clear with not too much of its brown colored head. Smell is malts, roasty, but not a whole lot there. Taste is weak, roasty, malts, dry, and missing.

Almost black coloured bere with some light carbonation and an average off-white head. Malty, light metallic roasted and herby aroma. Full palate. Finish is bitter roasted with a longer sweet bitter malty palate. A rather medium stout.

(30cl bottle) Pours a brown body with a small beige head. Aroma of chocolate, milky, roasted malt, and caramel. Flavor of roasted malt, caramel, light burnt, and some coffee with a dry, bitter finish.
