Dark and firm brown head. A litle bit dryish and bitter, for me the bitter is not top much, but lack of counter sweetness, at least a litle....

Sampled from tap at Amsterdam Craft Beer Fest 2016. Pitch black with a fluffy, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, some licorice and some caramel. Sweetish, moderately roasty-malty taste of coffee, dark chocolate and some licorice, followed by a short, moderately roasty-bitter finish. Thin to medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay.

Difficult. I love the beers of Jopen, but stout (and especially extra stout) is not really my thing. The appearance was good, although I had a different label than the picture in ratebeer (which I like better than the new one). The taste was a bit smoky and burnt, with a hint of port. The texture was rather alcoholic and the finish was chalky. But I give bonuspoints because it is made in the Jopen brewery.

20160605 Home; 33 cl bottle; BB 20180118 (brewed in the Netherlands): A dark clear brown-red coloured beer with a thin brownish foam layer. Some sweetness in the aroma, but mainly dark roasted malt with some coffee (light chocolate) and bitterness. The beer with a medium body (nearly okay for a stout) has a malty bitterness, some chocolate and fruitiness. The aftertaste is dry malt bitter. A reasonable example of a stout (maybe a little too sweet for this and because of this the roasted barley missing) with a normal carbonation. For a stout the body (normal thin - medium) is slightly too tick.

Bottle at Beerville, Belgrade. Dark brown, creamy head. Bitter dark malt. Mild roast. Solid flavorful, lighter stout. Tasty and solid.
