Pours a very deep brown body with a small beige head of decent life-time and lacing capabilities. Sweet, roasted and strong aroma of chocolate, dark caramel and liquorice. The pretty strong flavour also has fruity elements, and distinct notes of coffee. Light sweet taste with a long-lasting moderate bitter finish. Light and dry on the palate, moderate carbonation. A very nice dry stout.

Cereal, leathery, slightly roasty aroma. Deep cola brown, smallish camel head. Dusty, raisiny, a little coffee tang, not assertively bitter. Slightly heavy body, good carbonation. Finish is a little soapy. Standard 11.2 oz bottle with a rather plain label. Thanks to Triock.

Draft at Jopenkerk. Toffee, faint smoke, roasted malt, chocolate, metallic, wattery. It’s not the worst stout ever, but it’s safe and very forgettable.
