At Jopen, pours hazy and medium carbonated golden orange . Clean lager and bread. So easy going but I do enjoy lagers these days when all the hoppy beers are sweet

The looks are that of a simple pilsener: golden yellow with a tiny cloudiness. The layer of foam is white and rough and collapses quickly, leaving nothing but a tiny drape. The smell is also that of pilsener, with a little more depth to it. The smell is that of barley and some hops. The taste is pretty much the same: pilsener, but than a little better. The beer is simple but good.

Dorada miel, de espuma blanca poco duradera. Aroma dulce acaramelado, notas herbales. Bastante bebible.

On tap at Arends Nest Amsterdam. Very pale gold hazy lasting white head. It’s a but like lemon barley water. A little sour on the finish. Light virtually no malt. Lime sour on the finish. refreshing. Dry. OK.

0.33 l bottle from Drankenservice Françoise, bottled in october 2014 (almost a year old). Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, foamy, slowly diminishing, white head. Fruity-grassy aroma of lemon, vanilla, grains, honey and hints of butter. Sweetish, fruity-grassy taste of lemon, vanilla, honey, straw and again a bit of butter, followed by a short, crisp, slightly bitter finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Quaffable, refreshing, solid. In a blind-tasting , I would have guessed this was a kölsch. A pity that the bottle is way too old.
