Bottle bought in Netherland. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. moderate malty and hopy and yeasty aroma. Moderate bitter nice flavor. Average heavy bitter finish. Oily palate. Exstremely well-balanced belgian ale especially regarding the low ABV.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are yeast, malt, fruits and caramel.

33cl, new exclusive Dutch brew Anno 2009, from De Bierkoning Amsterdam, not complex brew, yet refreshing, balanced, hazy, small head, nice brew

Bottle 0,3ltr:Golden coloured slightly sweet brew made from ingredients around the 1900’s, but Jopen meets Cologne?

33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Faint aroma of yeast, wheat, light spices and hops. Flavour is hay, grain, some wheat, yeast, chalk, light fruity, nice dry bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. Nice, but just a bit lacking.. Would love to try this from tap, could be a very nice session beer.

Bottle 33 cl (I don’t like these one-way bottles, please stop using them). Pours a light golden with a medium but fading white head and an aroma of sweet malts, cookies, hay, caramel and some hops. The taste is also a tiny bit on the sweet side, sweet malts, toffee, maybe some honey, banana and some hops in the and. A lot better than your everyday lager. I tend to like this

Interesting. Very light aroma and appearance and also flavor. But there’s a very sweet untertaste that keeps evolving for a while. Got it in a bottle at I think Marqt.

On tap at Wildeman. A blond beer made especially for the Jopen Festival 2009. Perfectly clear orange body with a nice tall head. A very sweet nose. Tastes sweet with a slight tase of ginger. Also malts in there. A pretty good balanced beer. Nice one.
