Best Kolsch styled beer in the NL, refresing aroma in the nose of malts and hops. Just a little sweet buttery nutty nose. Taste is wonderfull, and it starts nutty sweet and end nutty bitter, which lingers on and on and dries out your mouth. The aftertaste is present for a long time in the back of your mouth, and throat. For beer lovers who like real easy drinkable bitter beers.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of malt and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw and malt as well as hints of vitamins, leaidng to a bitter finish.

On tap at Barcelona Beer Festival 2012. Malty aromas. Light copper colour, some haziness. Light white head, non persistent. Cereal flavors, some resins. Malty finish.

On tap at Cafe ’t Arendsnest, Amsterdam on 17th March 2012. Hazy god with grey-white head and part lacing. Aroma yeasty and a little fruity. Gently hoppy in-mouth and a citric finish of lemon and grapefruit. Zingy mouthfeel. Quaffable.

33 cl bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is light phenolic and toasted malty. Bitter, toasted malty and phenolic. Bitter and dry finish. Simple.

Draft at Jopenkerk. Hazy gold pour with white head. Yeasty bread aroma with malt and some citrus. Slightly fruity yeasty flavour. Drinkable but not special.

33 cl. bottle @ home. Golden with a white head which leaves lace. Yeasty, malty aroma. Nice bitterness in the taste. Dry aftertaste. Not the most adventurious beer there is but a nice alternative to pilsener when not in the mood for the heavy stuff.

Tap @ Nederlands Biercafe ‘t Arendsnest. Pours cloudy amber with a good creamy off white head leaving lace. Aroma is sourish yeasty, sweetish, malty and hay. Flavor as aroma, quite fruity, apples and bitter. Finishes bitter sweetish.
