Bottle shared by Borresteijn. Pours pitch black with a loglasting brown head. The aroma is highly citrussy hoppy with note of hard roasted malts, liquorice and coffee. The flavour is hard roasted malt, coffee, citrussy hops and liquorice. Fullbodied, soft mouthfeel. Nice one!!

Black to brown pour, foamy tan head. Aroma is nice and roasty with caramel and bready yeast. Flavor is bitter, roasted malts, almost burnt. Bready yeast, caramel, some licorice and coffee. Nice brew.

Bottle, tfs Vaiz! Aroma is liquorice, spices, lot’s of (roasted) malt, some alcohol and cough syrup.
Flavour is peaty, roasty, malty, some chocolate and liquorice.
Quite bitter, some sweetness, long lingering.

Clear dark red brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light heavy malty, roasted, caramel, coffee, wood, light alcohol. Flavor is light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, dark roasted, alcohol warm, salty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. 75 cL bottle, courtesy of cgarvieuk. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is fruity, yeasty and dark roasted malty. Sweet, fruity, yeasty, spiced and dark toffee caramelish. Lingering fruity, malty and slight phenolic.

Bottle from De Bierkoning. Very dark brown with a lacing tan head. Intense espresso aroma with sweet chocolate notes. Delicious sweet chocolate and roasted coffee flavours. Balances on the sweet side, but does so elegantly. A treat, dangerously hiding its strength.

Malt, karamel, kaffe, lakrids, grape, fyrrenål, træ, harpiks, tøv, rødligsort, uklar, tæt skum der holder i lang tid. Meget sød og meget bitter. Cremet og livlig.
