Jopen Hoppenbier is Okay! Not bad. Here’s hops, taste, wheat, no caramel, no pine nut! thank god. Some barnyard, no banana, no cooked vegetables, licorice, or other deviations. Maybe sometime they will sort it out to make even a better beer. Jopen is on the right course to brew a Dutch Decent Beer in the future. And I hope they forget to make Belgian beer one day.

Bottle at Beerville, Belgrade. Hazy yellow-gold, creamy head. Sweet yeast punch, hop funk too. Nice taste, intriguing. Well put together, good hop bite.

Bottle from Getränke Stumpf Ingelheim. Nice hazy golden colour with a small white head. Good mix of malt aromas and bitter hops. Hops are fruity-grassy. Simple and refreshing beer.

Draught @ Albion. Hazy bright yellow with small foamy white head, low carbonation, faint citrus aroma, lightly bitter hops taste with grainy flavor, thin body, longish bitter finish. Interesting brew, considering the historical perspective.

Bottled. Hazy golden colour, small white creamy head, sediments ???. Aroma is barnyard and caramel. Flavour is very sour, almost acidic. Weird. I would say it is spoiled but it is like it is.

Nice beer with a classy mix of malts and hops, but the aftertaste is not good at all where the flavors are running around without control.

The beer has a rather simple look. The beer pours a little layer of white rough foam. The color of the beer is a bright golden yellow. The beer is very cloudy, it is impossible to look trough it. The appearance has something of a Weissbier. The smell has some nice fruity aromas of orange zest and grapefruit. The smell is a little to watery. The bitternes of the smell is to mild, the same goes for the fruit aromas. The beer also has a very unpleasant aroma, that reminds me of my dog after he has taken a swim. The taste of the beer is better. There is a decent strong bitterness and a little sweetness. There is also a nice touch of sour. The taste is quite unique. It is a good blend between sour and bitter, but yet there is this thing reminding me of my dog. This is a very unpleasant association. The palate is nice, the little gas bubbles are tingling the tongue nicely.
