Draught, at the Lowlander, London. Foggy body, brown in colour. Firm astringent aroma. Sharp’ish astringent flavour, dry and quite easily drunk. Nice beer but there was better to come.

Golden beer with a fine white head. Full sweet aroma of fruit with tones of hops and toffee. Penetrating hay flavor. Fruit, oranges and hops also. Like a mild triple. Dry finish. Foamy mouthfull.

Draft at the Lowlander Cafe in London. Came out a nice amber body with an aroma laden with candy sugar, yeast sweet malts and fruit. Taste is more fruit (melons/pears) and yeast with some sugary and alcoholic notes coming through. towards the end. Light hop character. Mouthfeel was rather full with a decent carbonation feel. Finished with more of the fruit notes and sweet notes. Light alcohol coming through as well. Good beer!

UPDATED: FEB 15, 2010 Golden coloured, big lasting white head. Very distinct aroma, hoppy and herbal with some fruity notes. Hoppy flavour, quite bitter. Smooth bitter finish. Thirst quenching beer with some interesting flavours. Very suitable for drinking many in a row...

Tap. t Arendsnest Jan 2004. Gold, moderate white head and good condition. Slightly sweet aromas of fruity malt and good resinous dry hoppy notes. Sweet malt and good hop flavours but with a slightly tinny edge. Malty sweet finish with a good tingle of hop bitterness.
