[5/5/13] Bottle at my hostel room in Copenhagen. Thanks Hansen & Zita. Clear amber. Aroma of rye spiciness and some floral hops with a light citric note. Flavor has some malty sweetness, a bit caramelly, some rye spiciness and a finish with some hoppy bitterness. Medium-bodied.

Pours reddish amber with a beige head. Aroma is malt, pepper notes, pine and grass. Flavour is malt, pepper notes and pine.

Medium beige head. Amber body made hazy by small floaties. Perfumy candy and tropical fruit aroma with peachy grainy notes. Dryish mealy grainy rye taste with vaguely roasty notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish resiny orangey aftertaste with roasty rye notes. Nice, interesting, a bit different, but not very remarkable. (0.33l bottle, from de Kaaskamer, Amsterdam.)

33CL bottle at home, Cola like colour with a small white head, aroma is hoppy, taste is different but good, overall al great beer

Dark orange yellow with big off-white foam head. Aroma is hoppy. Taste is nice bitter, with same longer aftertaste. (Haarlem 201304)

Bottle from beernavigator. My first Jopen beer. Pours ruby with a big sustainable and beautiful offwhite/pale beige head. The nose is fruity, grassy and floral together with some brown bread. My assosiations say eglish bitter. The mouthfeeling is creamy and soft the malt body feels komplex for being a session beer. The hops adds grassy, peppery and floral tones. An easy but very tastful and rather complex drink that I really appreciated

Long neck bottle, 330 ml, at home. Poured into a tulip glass. ABV 5,3% Pours a deep red ruby colour with two fingers of off-white head. Bits and pieces floating in the beer. Foam has good retention and leaves nice rings of lacing as it goes down. Aroma is very fruity, with a blend of tropical fruits and citrus upfront and some light cherries on the background. Taste is bitter, the citrus more notable here. Even more bitter on the afteraste, with a long finish. Medium thick body and carbonation a bit above average. Nice dryness on the palate. Nice beer, the low alcohol makes it ideal for a session beer.

Light brown colour with thin, lacy head. Aroma has some caramel. Flavour has sweet caramel malt and a full rye flavour that becomes bitter and a bit hoppy in the finish.

UPDATED: MAR 3, 2013 Aroma: caramel, hay, roasty, floral, grass, herbs, leaves. Appearance: red, brown, clear, minimal head, tan foam,. Taste: medium sweetness, very bitter, medium sourness. Palate: medium body, sticky, average carbonation, bitter. O: very spiced and herbal flavored. Some sweet caramel running through a rather bitter experience. Not in a bad way. Nice beer.

Pours an amber colour with a white head. Aroma of grassy hops, biscuit and caramel. Flavour of caramel malts, grassy hops, some floral notes, grains and rye bread. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and high carbonation. Decent.
