Poirs bordeaux color, hazy, low carbonated. Creamy off-white head, moderate sized and long lasting, vanishes into a wide film. Aroma is fruity and spicy. Body is creamy, alcohol is perfectly masked, finsih is fresh and herbal. Taste is spicy, ginger, bitter and thick, very tasty

Dark copper red beer without carbonation and a nice foamy head. Caramel toffee with candy apple sweetness. Lightly alcoholic and even a bit minty. The taste is chocolate caramel with apples. Bitter finish. Very special stuff!

33 cl. bottle @ Gollem. I still strongly dislike the Jopen glass. Pours lightly reddish dark brown, light off-white / tanned head, reasonably big and creamy. Nose is strongly sweet with lots of sticky liquorish, brown sugar, caramelized, very sticky and thick spices. Taste is sweet syrup, roots, light dark vegetables, thick liquorish, bitter spices but also very sweet ones in the beginning, lightly herbal, lightly bitter in the back. Creamy – better than expected enjoyed it.

Bottle courtesy of 77ships, thanks! Hazy ruby red color, thick ponk jead. Aroma of softly sour root vegetables and cherries. Taste is bitter roots, herbs, cranberries.

Muddy brown with a foamy, medium, lacy, beige head. Smells of dried fruit like raisins and plums, caramel, liquorish, vanilla, cloves and ginger. Lots of spices very herbal. Medium oily body with soft carbonation. Tastes mostly of cinnamon, and ginger to me. Sweet at fist with caramel and nut, fruit in the middle and a medium bitter strong spicy herbal finish. Some alcohol is noticeable. Tastes like a home remedy for something. It’s alright

Pours an average frothy off-white head that mostly diminishes. Body is clear red brown, sparkles are visible. Aroma contains light bread, molasses, flowers, herbs, orange, lemon, lime, dough, cheese, banana, grape, raisin, tawny port, honey, vanilla, cola and spices. Flavor is light acidic and then sweet, light bitter and with a spicy finish. Body is medium to full. Texture is oily, carbonation is quite soft. Surprising in the beginning but a bitboring on the end. All in all though, quite good.

Bottle at Huppel The Pub, Den Haag. Poured a hazy dark brown with a reddish hue and a broken off white head. The aroma is crisp and yeasty. The flavour is sharp, yeasty, a little alcoholic and with some red berries on the palate. A very drinkable beer from Jopen.
