Tap at Jopenkerk. Spicy gruit nose, caramel, chocolate, some orange. Cloudy orange-brown, pretty low tan head, fine. Rich and malty, chocolate and caramel, Belgian yeast, spicy. Interesting, sweet, licorice, creamy and heavy. Bit too sweet with nothing really to cut it. Interesting, but 100 ml is enough.

Interesting beer: nothing like anything a tasted before, and a needed to read some ratings before i was able to describe this beer. A taste of red wine & cola & plums & chocolate & rye & cinnamon. A bit like liquors of jagermeister or Becherovka, but as a pleasant beer with the soft, creamy carbonization/texture of other Jopen beers.

Deep ruby, cloudy, lots of mini floaters, creamy medium strong beige head. Aroma is moderate strong candy, caramel malty and loads of spices. Taste is moderate to strong sweet caramel, candy - brown sugar - licorice, loads of spices, a mix of flavors, some cereal, some herbal hoppiness, low bitterness. Medium+ bodied, light carbonation. Didn’t feel any booze. Quite interesting.
