Hazy dark copper beer, nice beige head. Nose is a bit medicinal, herbal. Taste is very herbal, bit licorice, bit cokelike. It’s not the kind of taste I like in a beer.

Bottle at Jopenkerk. Hazy brown pour with tan head. Slightly weird aroma of washing up liquid. Flavour is way better with fruit, spice and caramel

UPDATED: DEC 11, 2011 30 cl. bottle. Colour is a cloudy reddish brown whith a thin off-white head. Most prominent in the aroma as well as the taste is liquorice, I think because of the use of gruit insteas of hops. There is also some roasted malts and some caramel in the taste. Overall a nice non-standard beer.

Colored reddish brown. Mostly caramel but with a bit of fruit. Now widely available, even in Dutch supermarkets.
