A dark red, brown bear with a creamy tan head. Sweet on the nose and the taste, licorice, cough syrup. Quite different then I expected, I had a Witte Klavervier Kuyt and this is very different, are they really the same style?

Herbs, Herbs and Herbs is what makes this beer. It’s a dark brown coloured beer with a thin head and medium carbonation. It lacks the typical Jopen taste (wich is nice to not have in at least one of their beers). The herbal taste makes this beer comparible to lets say a Jägermeister or a (as we call it in holland) Kruidenbitter and even (dare I say it) cough syrop. Served on the right temperature this gives a really nice beer to enjoy after a meal. One of my favorite Jopen Beers.

Nez légèrement fruité et des arômes un peu de café au lait... En bouche elle est vraiment très douce on ressent encore le café au lait... Légèrement sucré.. Avec une densité de gaz moyen. Bu peut-être un peu trop chaude :-/

33cl Bottle from local nightshop Kokkes (A'dam Zuid). Pours brown red with a beige head, which diminishes quickly. Aromas of bread, raisins, herbs, dark berries. Flavors of licorice, oats, cloves and alcohol. Medium body, with a spicy and slightly sweet aftertaste. Kind of unique.

Bottle. Nice deep amber colour with thick beige head. Sweet/sour aroma. Taste is very herbal, sweet and amazingly smooth, it is indeed warming as the label says. Lingering herbal aftertaste. Very distinct beer in a good way.
