UPDATED: DEC 11, 2011 30 cl. bottle. Colour is a cloudy reddish brown whith a thin off-white head. Most prominent in the aroma as well as the taste is liquorice, I think because of the use of gruit insteas of hops. There is also some roasted malts and some caramel in the taste. Overall a nice non-standard beer.

Bottle. Translucent deep-reddish brown with a large, yellowish-brown head that diminishes quickly, but doesn’t disappear. Aroma is herbal, medicinal, minty, tones of syrupy malts. Taste begins as herbal minty changing into sweet, syrupy, bready malts with a malty, herbal, medicinal finish with anise. Aftertaste is slightly malty, herbal, somewhat anisey. Palate is rather sticky, quite carbonated, medium.
