3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle 30 cl. Pours a thin head that doesn’t last long. Deep red brown appearance. Malty and very spicy aroma, no hops here. Same spicy and also very herbal taste. The malts are only noticeable in the aftertaste and it’s clearly noticeable that 3 kinds of grains are used, which also makes the aftertaste a bit weird. The mouth feel is also a bit weird. I guess we aren’t used to medieval beer anymore.

Decent gruit beer. Well balanced, spices really are well represented. Not your everyday beer, but very good.

Botella. Muy visual. Aroma y sabor muy especiado. Compleja en boca por la cantidad de especias dulce y amarga con alta carbonatacion

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sweet fruity nose with dark fruits, cherries, berries, bit caramel, dough, and a lot of different spices: clove, ginger, cinnamon, anise, opaque redbrown, foamy tan head, good lacing, fresh sweet(bitter), fruity candy taste, medium to heavy body, fruity sweetness continues in finish with the spices coming back on the tongue. Never (artificial) sugary sweet but always fruity, very special indeed.
